If you’re reading this then you have found your way to Thanet Children’s Centre’s blog. Here we will be posting and writing about all the latest Children’s Centre news, including groups, courses, events and more.
Today is Red Nose Day 2017, so, to raise awareness and donations for Comic Relief, we ran a Red Nose Bonanza! Amy Ruane, Michelle White (Early Help Workers) and Katharine Nash (Business Support Officer), put on their red noses and Children’s Centres shirts and got messy!
Children had their faces painted and the staff had theirs splashed with wet sponges. Everyone mucked in with ‘messy play’ as well, which is something we do a lot in our groups.
All in all we raised £53.00, and all of that will go to towards Comic Relief.
Thank you to those who attended the event and donated.
Until next time.
